An interesting group photo of North Irish Horsemen taken in France. Only some are wearing cap badges, and three of these are shoulder titles improvised as cap badges.

It is possible that this is a group of men from the disbanded 2nd North Irish Horse Regiment about to commence training as infantrymen at the 36th Division Infantry Base Depot at Harfleur in September 1917.
